jgoose "Tapioca Tadpole" is so incredibly beautiful. That anthemic ending guarantees that I'll be following this band for a long time. The introduction of "You're Not Martin Luther King" weaves and repeats a beautiful twinkly tapestry, and when the horns kick in 30ish seconds in - ooh, sonic bliss! Can't wait to see what's next! Favorite track: Tapioca Tadpole.

1.
waiting for a moment that i can breathe feeling for the anger that we release tangled with the tadpoles from the start in all these pretty lights we fall apart dying to grow legs awful feeling but i never earned it i wasn't born to be a winner straight to the point of no turning back from your teenage decisions and what they brought dizzy relations and young imitations of love who are you when i'm not around you got me feeling so down straight to the point of breakfast in bed when you've woken up dead they will eat their young living machines and mechanical dreams of their love who are you when i'm not around you got me feeling so down awful feeling but i never earned it i wasn't born to be a winner
2.
the pool is deep and you're afraid but jumping in is the only way to learn to swim and prove you're brave in the water we all float away one day you'll be okay you've got nothing to lose in your way it stands strong in the water it falls into place crashing upon the shore surely the waves take aim without anybody watching in the water we all float away
3.
people do nothing all the time hopelessly wondering why where it will be as it grows older it hides slowly convincing that it's fine searching for something to find right and wrong move along we don't know where to go nothing more hold the door don't ever let it close count the stars up above wherever you go hold on for a moment let it sink in late at night you worry you lie awake thoughts running searching for something to find wipe your tears brush it off things like this don't cut deep people fly all the time jump off of the earth
